Digital disruptor, Nick Jordan, is at it again!

Pictured: Nick and I at the Narrative HQ in downtown New York City. Nick hits his coffee with the naughtiest-sounding sweeteners he can find. Today’s? Cinnabon.

Nick Jordan’s ace platform is looking for top talent.

I’ll get into more details about Nick’s new idea, but we have more urgent matters to tend to. Nick is looking for some serious, five-star, developer brainpower. The kind of brainpower who “understands how to develop highly-scaled systems that support complex processes.” Now I’m no developer, but that sounds darn important. If you know any tech wizards on the search, respond in the comments.

Here’s more on Nick’s Narrative.

Nick is the Founder of a radical new platform called Narrative. And I’m psyched to tell you about it because he’s onto something big. Once upon a time, when a company wanted to buy data, they had to call up a broker—a living, breathing human—to hunt the data down, negotiate a deal, and acquire the goods. “Archaic! Exhausting! Inefficient!” is what Nick probably said to himself. And Narrative was born shortly thereafter.

But there’s more to the story.

Nick and I met when he was SVP for ad tech pioneers, Tapad. Who, you say? You haven’t heard of Tapad? Unless you are a big budget digital advertiser, you wouldn’t have. But I guarantee you’ve experienced Tapad in the form of “sticky” banner ads. You know the kind. The ones that mysteriously follow you from one device to the next. Search for a pair of kicks on your phone, and those shoes follow you like a hungry puppy on all your devices. How does that happen? Tapad, that’s how. Love ‘em or hate ‘em, Tapad (with Nick’s help) invented the connective engine behind the tech.

I was hired by Tapad to help tell this groundbreaking story. And Nick and I worked together to rebirth Tapad from a tech-heavy, emotionally-sterile brand story to a more dynamic one with colorful language, visuals, and a unique point of view. Check out the work.

Jump forward a couple of years after Tapad was sold for $360MM, and you’ll find Nick embarking on a new mission: to help businesses move beyond the inefficiency buying and selling data.

Nick’s idea allows companies to pipe-in data directly from the source with total transparency. Why is this such a big deal? No dealers, brokers, or middlemen muddying the process and marking up the transaction.

I believe Narrative is poised to make noise. He’s already signed-on clients like food delivery apps, mobile gaming companies, and Fortune 50 CPG brands. It’s an exciting time for Nick and also any developer looking to get in early. So if you know of a stellar developer who can play a part, Nick’s interviewing!
